'Roadblocks to widespread EV adoption remain unsolved'

"The ZEV transition relies on the confidence of consumers, yet reduced purchase incentives and high costs threaten to leave many European states unable to meet the required pace of EV adoption."

"With France and Germany freezing their various EV subsidies and reports that Italy is adjusting its incentive scheme in favour of domestic EV production, it's vital that members states send out a consistent message and ensure local ZEV incentives don't become a zero-sum game, creating an unnecessary friction between European nations."
